About: This Workshop is entirely based on Case Studies and hypothetical realistic Scenarios and will immerse you into the corporate systems and processes needed to achieve Crises readiness. You will learn the Crisis Management lifecycle, from prevention and preparedness through response, recovery, and mitigation. You will diagnose common breakdowns of a Crisis Plan due to either external factors outside the organization’s control or internally controlled strategic management failures. You will compare your organization’s Crisis Management Plan and documents with International benchmarks and best practice and from there you will run scenarios that test your insights into your systems. The Course is Team-Based and to get the maximum value of the produced work it is preferred that all participants are from a single company, although this is not strictly required
The standard Course comes with numerous interactive crisis scenarios and a full desktop exercise that will allow you to put in practice the concepts learned and compare them with your Crisis Management Plan.
The extended Course incorporates the design and development of a complete Crisis Management Plan, including tools and methods to identify potential crises, response and mitigation strategies to limit exposure, crisis response teams, and Crises communications designs
