MY 16 PRINCIPLES
I gathered these 16 Principles throughout the years and they have always helped me remain focus on what matters not only professionally but also in my personal life. I hope they can benefit you too!!!
1) Preserve Core ~ Promote Changes (Yin-Yang).
2) Use every means to Encourage Communication.
Never let positions or hierarchy get in the way.
3) Look Past Today, and monitor the environment for tomorrow. Don't get stuck on the past
4) Make Changes equivalent to Growth and make Growth equivalent to Fulfillment
5) Encourage Risk Taking. Do not punish for failure.
Coach first and Act when the same mistake is repeated.
6) Put Truth and Integrity above everything else.
Untidy truths are better than smooth lies.
7) Emphasize Dignity, Respect and Honor while disagreeing. Disagree without being disagreeable.
8) Build an environment where all feel Free to Speak. Learn to Listen. Respect difference of opinions.
9) Pick Your Battles. Remain flexible but defend your beliefs
10) Clarity + Consistency + Commitment = Credibility.
Build your "Trust Factor".
11) Spend at least 50% of your time on People.
View them as Partners regardless of their place.
12) Avoid "Paralysis by Analysis".
Balance between the Fine Points and the Big Picture.
13) Ride the Waves of Change rather than complaining about them
14) Talent + Attitude = Potential --> Potential + Training = Skills --> Skills + Persistence = Growth
15) Put Optimism on your desktop. Make it the fuel for Bold and Disciplined Actions
16) Strive for Balance. Have Fun in your Command.
